William G. Odell has been with the firm since 1966, and has specialized in natural resource law for over fifty years. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Odell worked in the Gulf Oil Corporation Land Department and in the Carter Oil Company Land Scouting Department (a subsidiary of Standard Oil Company, later to become Humble Oil & Refining Company). He also worked in the Humble Oil Company and Mobil Oil Corporation Legal Departments. Mr. Odell received his A.B. degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1952, and in 1954 earned his L.L.B. degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. He has served as chairman of the Legal Committee of the Rocky Mountain Oil and Gas Association and the State Land Subcommittee of the Mineral and Natural Resources Section of the American Bar Association. Mr. Odell is admitted to practice law in Colorado, Oklahoma, and Montana. He is a member of the American, Colorado, Montana, Oklahoma, and Denver Bar Associations, and the Natural Resources & Energy Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association.
