Chris McGowneChris McGowne focuses in the area of natural resources law, handling complex oil and gas litigation and regulatory matters.  Prior to graduating from the University Of Denver Sturm College Of Law, Chris worked for the 18th Judicial District in Castle Rock as a Judicial Assistant. Chris also worked as Senate Reading Clerk for five sessions at the Colorado State Senate before moving to a large healthcare trade association as a lobbyist. Chris then moved to the Colorado Oil & Gas Association as the Community Outreach Coordinator, helping to facilitate meaningful dialogue between the oil & gas industry, concerned citizens, and local government officials. While in law school, Chris completed both his JD and his LLM, focusing on Natural Resource and Environment Law, while earning certificates in Constitutional Law, Energy Law, and Land Use Law. Chris also served as a Senior Staff Editor for the University of Denver Water Law Review and as a Staff Editor for the Denver Journal of International Law and Policy.
