Anya Lear is an Associate Attorney at Poulson, Odell and Peterson, LLC, where she handles a variety of oil and gas litigation matters. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, which she attended on a tuition scholarship. Anya has been licensed to practice law by the Colorado Supreme Court since 2012.
After law school, Anya clerked for a trial judge at Denver District Court. She gained valuable legal experience by conducting legal research in complex civil and appellate cases and drafted judicial orders. Anya also worked at the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado, where she performed legal research and writing on a wide variety of civil and criminal issues. Prior to joining our firm, Anya practiced immigration law and handled legal matters that pertain to family-based immigration, removal defense and citizenship matters.
