Randall M. Case is a specialist in the areas of natural resource and corporate law, and has over twenty-five years' experience in the oil and gas industry. Mr. Case represents oil and gas companies of all sizes, in matters related to the acquisition, development, and operation of oil and gas properties. His corporate practice includes business formation, acquisition, and other related transactional matters. Mr. Case has been actively involved in the legal education programs of the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation. He has chaired the program committee responsible for establishing the Foundation's annual week-long short course on federal oil and gas law and has chaired the Foundation's special institute dealing with the 1987 amendments to the federal oil and gas leasing statutes. Mr. Case was a member of the faculty of the federal oil and gas course for several years and has been one of the Foundation's annual institute speakers. He has also served as a trustee of the Foundation since 1981, and was the Foundation's president from 1989-1990. Mr. Case attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and the United States Naval Academy, where he obtained a B.S. degree in 1965. He earned his J.D. degree from the University of Denver College of Law in 1973, after serving as a nuclear submarine officer in the United States Navy from 1965 to 1970. Mr. Case is admitted to practice law in Colorado, North Dakota and Wyoming. He is a member of the American, Colorado, Wyoming, and Denver Bar Associations, the Natural Resources & Energy Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association, and the Denver Association of Petroleum Landmen.
